For the first time scheme members and employers can help to run the East Riding Pension Fund at a local level to ensure the Local Government Pension Scheme is well managed.
The East Riding Pension Fund Local Pension Board was established 25 February 2015 and consists of three member representatives and three employer representative.
All members on the East Riding Pension Fund's Local Pension Board members must adhere to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's code of conduct for members.
It is also a legal requirement that members of the East Riding Pension Fund's Local Pension Board do not have a conflict of interest and that they declare this position.
This policy sets out the principles that members of the East Riding Pension Fund Local Pension Board are expected to follow in order to fulfill their legal obligations in identifying, monitoring and managing potential, actual or perceived conflicts of interest.

A full register of any reported possible or actual conflicts of interest is maintained and reviewed annually by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, as the administering Authority.
